Degree Sheer Powder Deodorant By aura on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Degree Sheer Powder is an invisible solid anti-perspirant and deodorant. I switched to Degree after using Secret due to the claims that Degree deodorant goes on clear. I've been using it for 12-15 years now.

In my experience, it doesn't glide on clear, it glides on white. The whiteness doesn't completely go away either. Most of the time when I use this deodorant, I'll have white clump residue on my underarms awhile after I've applied it.

In addition to gliding on clear, the people behind Degree also claim it reduces underarm wetness. In that way, the deodorant definitely has worked for me. During the summers, my underarms will sweat a little, even if I'm in an air-conditioned house. So after washing with some soap and water, I apply Degree under my arms and I have little to no sweatiness for the rest of the day into the next day.

So if you're looking for a deodorant that won't threaten to leave a white mess on your clothes, Degree Sheer Powder wouldn't be my first recommendation. However, if you want to reduce (or even eliminate) the sweatiness under your arms and feel nice and dry, then I would recommend you try it.
