Dell 2005 Fpw Lcd Monitor By Nostrum on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This 20" widescreen LCD monitor from Dell is the best monitor I have ever owned.

It supports DVI, VGA, S-video, and Composite inputs. Unfortunately, it does not have component or HDMI inputs so it will not work with HD-DVD or Bluray players.

The native resolution is 1680x1050, which is standard for 20" widescreen monitors. I had no dead pixels and only very minor backlight imperfection.

The color is spot-on. It absolutely shames my old monitor, a 17" Samsun flatscreen CRT. The clarity, like most monitors with digital input, is perfect. It is not the birghtest LCD I've ever used nor does it have the best contrast, but both are sufficient especially considering the quality of the color representation.

There are no ghosting issues. The Super-IPS panel has superior color compared to TN panels and better reponse time than PVA panels.
