Dell Dimension 3000 Desktop - Excellent

Fine for use by a college student. I do a lot of schoolwork, run a bunch of programs at same time, watch video, webcam, chat and it's still pretty fast. I don't know about gaming and burning CDs. It's 80GB drive and I've used 50GB and its still fast. It is 2.40 GHz, 512 MB and has Windows XP. It's always been reliable. The speakers are okay, nothing great. I don't use them as I have an audio system. It gets all my work done and I have a lot of fun too. It plays movies without a problem. I can work on powerpoint projects and listen to Itunes at same time or chat for example. The only thing is I don't know about gaming capabilities since I don't like to play games. But anyone should be happy with this system really. I can't imagine anyone besides a computer science geek complaining about this system. So if your kids or you are looking for a desktop you can't go wrong with this one.
