Dell Inspiron 530S affordable quality
By Demon_Buttercup onI had no choice but to purchase a new computer system after the hard drive to my old was completely wiped out.I had been planning a purchase, but not for a few months yet, so while I had done some research, all I really knew for sure was that I wanted a Dell.
The Dell Inspiron 530S was on sale at Best Buy with a great package deal for $699.99 - that included a beautiful 19" flat screen monitor and a 3 in 1 printer system.The system has 4GB of memory and a 2.53 ghz intel core duo processor.It comes preloaded with Vista home premium, a 30 day free trial of Norton security and Microsoft Works, which I was so happy to get back, as I prefer that to the Word my previous computer had.
Though I have had my new Dell less than a week, I love it.It is SO fast!The tower is slim and can be placed either standing up or laying flat.It is a quiet system that moves quickly.The keyboard is smaller than any other previous keyboard I have used, there is basically no wasted space or plastic surrounding the keys.So far, I have not found a single flaw...I sure hope it stays this way!
Dell is a well known name ,but their service isn't very good,hope you don't need it.
The newer Dell's are very nice and offer loads of enhancements. My only gripe is their outsourcing.
I love my Dell too, although it is about 5 years old now and is starting to act like it. I want to get a newer Dell in the near future. Glad you on back on the Net ;)
Great price for everything you got! I had lots of problems with the Dell laptops at work but I think a lot of that was due to the company "recycling" computers instead of replacing them.
Wow that is a deal! I'm just afraid of the Vista. I've heard of so many issues. Of course they had the same with XP at first too. Congrats on the new computer!
