I recently purchased a new Dell Inspiron 640m Laptop. I have always had a desktop because I needed it for both business and personal uses. Since I have purchased the Dell Inspiron 640m Laptop, things have been so much easier for my business. I can not only take it in to any room I desire but I can now take it with me. The Dell Inspiron 640m Laptop came with many feature including Windows XP, WordPerfect, Bluetooth, Windows Media Player and Windows Movie Maker, in addition to your average software.

So far my Dell Inspiron 640m Laptop has been great. However, I have experienced a few problems with my new laptop. The hinges that open the laptop seem to be wearing out. It now has a slight looseness to it, causing it to rock when moving it. While it's not causing a problem, I am concerned that it may break long before the average computer life. Another issue that I have had with the Dell Inspiron 640m is that on a very rare occasion, the computer screen will malfunction, while surfing the Internet, working in a program or doing maintenance, the screen will spontaneously seem to be scrambled. The monitor is on but it doesn't show a picture. Instead, it shows a fuzzy multicolor picture that appears to be scrambled. The computer will not power off and you have to take the battery out of the back. This only happens on vary rare occasions.

Other than those few experiences, I have absolutely enjoyed my Dell Inspiron 640m Laptop. I would recommend that anyone looking for a new laptop to check out the Dell Inspiron 640m. It's thin, fast, convenient and rather inexpensive.
