Dell Insprion 1420 By TELamm on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased the Dell 1420 for school and it has worked very well. There are a few querks that come with it as any new technology purchase. The weight is very good, the reliability is mostly great, and the versatility is the most valuable part. Its very powerful. The only complaint, is the wireless has trouble connecting in certain places and areas. For example, in some classes the wireless works fine while in other auditoriums, etc. it appears not to recognize the signal. The screen size is 14" and I can't complain about that (its what I wanted). The battery life is better than normally reviewed. I have the standard 6 cell battery and at full power it normally lasts 2.5 hours, medium 3.25 hours, and at minimum setting about 4 hours. This laptop has surely performed up to par as well!
