Reviewing: Dell Inspiron E1405
Purchased at: Dell.Com

I originally purchased the Dell Inspiron E1405 to replace my Toshiba Satellite laptop which died within one year.As I was entering college, I needed a lightweight laptop to carry between my dorm and classes. The E1405 was definitely worth it.With a 14.1" screen, it weighs in to about five pounds. What I was most impressed about the E1405 was the battery performance! My old Toshiba only lasted a mere 1 hour. The standard option 6-cell lithium ion battery for the E1405 lasts me 3 hours on a full charge even with the screen at its brightest setting. This was really helpful in allowing me to take notes during classes. The 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and 2 GB memory makes this also a decent laptop for gaming.I highly recommed Dell for the incoming college student for the excellent battery life, light weight portability, and cheap price. It has been 2 years since I purchased this and it is still reliable functioning as if it was still new.
