Dell Latitude D600

I have had this Dell Latitude D600 for 3 years now.I can attest to it being a decent laptop.By decent I mean that it has many problems frequently.As a computer saavy person I find that this computer simply does not deliver a reliable service.There are so many issues with it.For one the hard drive overheats considerably.Sometimes this makes it unbearable to type because the palm of your hand is burning as mine is right now, however I have gotten used to it.Another problem is the lack of the fan really functioning properly to cool the said harddrive so as a result the whole computer gets insanely hot.Battery life should be like 5 hrs but lucky if you get 1 hr and 20 minutes from it.Even with careful use the casing starts to break just from the opening and closing of the laptop.Overall I dislike this product and had it not been free from school I would never have gotten it, and I do now also have my doubts with Dell.
