This is sure a durable printer! I have had it for a while now and it is still going. I have really had no problems with it besides the fact that when I bought it I had to order the ink directly from Dell. Now I can go to Walgreens and get it refilled and I think I even heard one of the office stores is selling Dell ink cartridges now!
I have never tried the fax capabilities so I can't really comment on that. I have used it to print documents and photos and they all print very clear. The photos print out wonderfully on photo paper, except when I am running low on ink. When the ink is low it seems to leave lines on the pictures.
I use the scanner more than anything. I scan my childrens pictures on it and any other documents that I need to send over the internet. The quality of the scans are 100%, in my opinion. They scan right onto a program, which saves them, and then I attach and send!!
I would definately recommend this printer for regular use!

I could use a good photo printer. If all goes well with my new card game, I may own my own printing shop someday, and will have to go way above this. This would be cool to have around. :)
I've experience with this printer, because my office have it. One thing I like for this device is it durability.
