Reviewing: Dell Purple Netbook With P3
Purchased at: Svrs     Price: $200.00 USD

This laptop is a small 10 inch laptop but don't let its size fool you. It does everything you could imagine a regular laptop could do but more. The laptop is also light weight too. The laptop is $400 for hearing people and $200 for deaf people. The purple notebook has a small webcam on the top and already downloaded into the laptop a SVRS user face. You can call anyone with it free and it's a videophone, this way deaf people can communicate during travels. You can also call other people who have videophones of any kind or a regular hearing phone. You can surf the web and go to any website you want using it's WIFI. This laptop is great for business too due to its light weight and small size that many people, including me love. There is also a full keyboard but some less used keys have been shrunken. It's also extremely easy to type with. Overall this is a very good laptop and I would recommend it to anyone especially deaf people.

Update On Nov 23, 2009: Can't afford to pay for the laptop? There's this new ebsite called lockerz and you get pointz just for signing in. You can also watch videos or play games to get pointz. It is really easy get you laptop. You can easly get it in a month or two. You need to be invited though. But you can go to lockerzreferrals.webs.com and get invited there. They have a no spam gaurentee.

As a visually impaired person, the 10" screen is great.

The low price makes me a bit skeptical. Does it have good speed and memory? Is it sluggish after a year or so? Does it have power to play games and things like that? And how clear is the webcam?

I completely agree I thought the price was too good to be true. But it's not. The speed of the computer is amazing. Surfing websites is a breez. I have downloaded many many things and I still have plenty of memory left and it runs no slower. I have had it only for 7 months but i have used it litterly every day. I honestly use it more than my home computer. The battery length isn't too good due to the small size of the laptop. About 4 hours or so. I play games on it all the time. It's not the best but is still pretty good. I can play games from addicting games and bored.com with ease but the same isn't true for games like WOW (World Of Warcraft) or Runescape. The web cam is amazing. When talking to my dad who is in NJ right now and im in KY it was as cledar as a crystal. Maybe on an ocation or a stormy day it will get a tad laggy but that's really it. Over all this is the best laptop to get for $400 (or $200 if you're deaf)

I have always wanted to buy a small laptop just this size. Dell is a good brand. i might consider this when it's time for me to get one for myself. Thanks.
