Dell Studio Xps By toxicawesumness on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Powered by Intel's Core i7 processor which has a clock speed of 2.66 GHz, Dell's new Studio XPS desktop system seeks to delight gamers. The core i7 is backed up by 3GB DDR3 ram, a 500 GB hard drive, a blu-ray combo drive, and a 512mb ATI Raedon HD4850 Graphics card. Along with a 24 inch monitor with a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 pixels, the system also packs the company's A525 2.1 stereo speakers, as well as a wireless keyboard and mouse set. Rich Brown says, "The Dell Studio XPS is the fourth PC we've reviewed from Dell using the same glossy black midtower chassis. We're still excited by this system, however, because it's another affordable PC with Intel's powerful new Core i7 desktop CPU. The Studio XPS reviewed here is a $1,299 configuration that outperforms competing systems thanks to a sizable allotment of system memory. Budget-minded enthusiasts will wish for more upgradeability, but as configured, this desktop will satisfy anyone looking for a fast computer that costs less than $1,500." So overall, its an awesome computer.
