Dell Xps 420 Quad Core By Nicholas Harrell on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Being on the market for a new PC, I did a lot of research. Checking out sites like newegg, dell, gateway, best buy, etc, I just could not make up my mind. I finally decided to break down and buy the parts and make the PC myself. But after being frustrated I gave up on that idea. After looking around though at local stores, I came across the Dell XPS 420 at walmart. With a price tag of 998, you get the Quad Core processor, 19" flat widescreen monitor, 3 gigs of ram, 300 gig HD, and an ATI 2400 video card. This is an awesome deal for this price. The case itself also has the miniview screen that shows your computer stats, easy to open case, and lots of ventilation and fan usage to keep it from overheating. The processor is a godsend though. I can multitask like non other now, and all my games run at lightning speed except for the really really high end games like assassin's creed that require a better video card that one is packaged in with this machine. But luckily there is lots of room to expand on this computer with plenty of slots like PCI-E and room for more RAM as well. If you need a very stable computer for both multimedia and gaming, check this machine out. Highly recommended.

Sounds like a pretty decent buy. Hope it provides you at least a few years of great service. Thanks for the info.
