Delsym cough supressant is the only cough medicine that we use in my home. I've tried many brands and most of them taste so bad that I can barely get them down, nevermind my kids! This is the only brand that I have found to be reasonably good tasting. Usually cough syrup tastes like straight alcohol, but Delsym has a benign, orange flavor. It's not too strong. I feel so happy to know that if my kids are coughing at night, I can give them this without a battle. I've tried giving them other brands and they get it to the tip of their tongue and spit it out. There is nothing more frustrating than being kept awake at night by a cough. With Delsym it's easy. I also like that you only take it every 12 hours instead of the typical 6-8. I would highly recommend Delsym for those who don't tolerate other cough syrups well. It gets the cough under control and tastes as good as a cough syrup can!
