Dents Deerskin Cashmere Lined Mens Gloves By Lorianna on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
When I went to London several years ago, I decided to bring my dad a nice pair of leather gloves. I was lucky to find Dents Deerskin Cashmere Lined Mens Gloves on sale in Harrods, the famous London store.
Dents is a very good, high quality brand. They have been around since 1777, so they've had plenty of time to perfect their art of glove-making. There were several kinds of gloves available, but I liked this pair from the start: stylish, well made, and very soft with the cashmere inside. The price tag, even with the gloves being on sale, was a bit high - around 20 pounds, which is roughly about 40 US dollars. However, I wanted to bring something special for dad, so I bought them.
Dad liked the gift and commented on how light, well-fitting, and comfortable the gloves were. He appreciated the quality, too. Today, several years later, the gloves still look like new. I looked them up on the Internet before writing this review and found out that they cost 52 pounds today - roughtly $104. I guess I had made a good investment!

Lucky Dad! These are very stylish and I am happy that they are still a favorite! I think having gloves that last are well worth the money you have to spend upfront. Sounds like a good investment!
WOW, over $100 for gloves! That's a bit pricey. Glad they are holding up and are of good quality:0)
These sound like a great pair of gloves and if they are still going strong and looking like new, definitely worth the initial investment. I'm sure you Dad loved them!
An excellent investment! Dent's is well known for quality goods, and these gloves are no exception. One reason I love cashmere is because it is light, insulates well and never sits heavy on the skin, making it pefect for gloves.
I think deerskin gloves are just the softest, most wonderful gloves there are. Can't quite explain why, but the leather just makes great looking, smelling, and feeling gloves.
This sound like a wonderful pair of gloves. Thanks for the great information.
I got my husband a pair of deerskin gloves a few years ago & the more he wears them, the more soft they seem to get-it sounds like your dad is enjoying his pair!
if they have been around since 1777 , sure no doubt about their quality.
Those sound really nice. I've never heard of the brand before, but if they've been around that long, they must really know gloves!
