Dependable Vicks VapoRub Cream

Vicks VapoRub is a cough suppresant and nasal decongestant cream. I've used it for as long as I can remember to get relief when I have a cough and/or cold or a phlegmy throat, and it's never failed to make me feel better. You basically apply a thick layer of the cream on your chest and the front of your neck, and the vapors will do their work to decongest you or suppress your cough.

Whenever I get coughing fits that won't go away, I slather on some Vicks VapoRub and within minutes I'm coughing less. Whenever I develop phlegm in my throat that I have the urge to keep coughing up, I slather on some VapoRub and within minutes it feels like the amount of phlegm has gone down so there's less need for me to cough it back up. Whenever I feel so nasally congested it makes me miserable, I slather on some VapoRub on my neck and chest and within minutes my nasal passageways open up a bit and allow me to breath. I also get a nice tingling sensation that lets me know that the cream is working.

You can also use Vicks VapoRub to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains by spreading a layer directly on sore muscles. However, I've never tried using it for that purpose, so I can't say whether it really does work in that capacity or not. But if you have a cough, a lot of phlegm in your throat, or a cold that's blocking your nasal passages, then you may want to try Vicks VapoRub for some immediate relief.
