Designer Bag for Your Lunch or a Great Purse

I was not looking for another purse, honestly!!I was at a craft show and wandered into the gift shop at Frederick Meijer Gardens where the show was being held.I saw this really cool looking blue/green paisley purse, just the right size, short handles (which is my preference) and I just had to check it out!

Was I in for a surprise when I opened it up to check out the insides.The entire inside of the purse was insulated!I then checked out the tags and discovered this was an insulated lunch bag/purse.Well, this was interesting and made me want it even more.

I can now take my lunch and wallet, phone and a drink all in one bag.I can cut down on paper bags or left over plastic bags from groceries to take my lunch in to work.When I'm not carrying my lunch on work days, it's a great purse with lots of room for additional items.

My KOKO Christy lunch bag/purse is done in a very fine and soft 100% polyester corduroy in a blue/green paisley design.The measurements are a very generous 11-1/2" x 6" x 5-1/2".There is a zippered closure across the top where I can reach in to remove items without any problem.I like that there are no additional compartments to hide things in and then forget what you put where.On the two sides are 2 very nice elastic pockets accented with webbed trim.I keep my cell phone in one and usually a box of mints in the other.There are 2 handles made of the same webbing and accented with buckles and the paisley material across the top.

The thermal interior is water and stain resistant and I can easily wipe it clean if needed.These bags are designed to keep my lunch hot or cold.In the picture I have a 14oz. bottle of a diet drink, a sandwich, a large apple and my 7-1/2" wide wallet which has all my necessary cards and ID along with my checkbook.

Your friends will swear you are carrying around a designer purse or messenger bag.No one has guessed my secret yet and I'm saving a little money by taking a healthy lunch to work instead of going out.

Update On Jun 08, 2010: I purchased another KOKO bag and wanted to share a couple of pictures.This is the Michelle Jungle Floral bag which is perfect for summer.It's a little larger than my other bag measuring 14"W x 9"H with a 5" bottom.I can't say enough great things about these bags and their dual use as a purse/handbag and an insulated lunch bag.
