Detroit Marriot

The Detroit Marriot sits right on the Detroit River and is connected to the GM building. Is is the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in and has over 50 floors with the most awesome views. This hotel isn't like others. It has a movie theatre inside the building!!! If you aren't in the mood for a movie the people mover will take you to the casino or almost anwhere else you need to go in Detroit. There are 2 bars in the hotel one that is a jazz lounge and on that is a resturant and bar. There food is soooo good and looks almost too good to eat !! One time while we were there we needed batteries for our camera and called the front desk and someone sent up a brand new pack at no charge!! Just talking about this hotel makes me want to set a reservation. There are so many places to go and things to see and they are all awalk away from this beautiful hotel. Canada is right across the river and is a very short drive. I love this hotel and I don't think that we will ever stay anywere else while in Detroit.
