I absolutely love the medical shows and thus, books that have to do with them. Devil Bones is a book based on the T.V. series Bones featuring Temperance Bernnean. In this book, a plumber is renovating an house and uncovers a cellar with some startling contents. A headless chicken, animal bones, cauldron containing beads and some feathers all great indications of some sort of religious ceremonies.In the middle of the "shrine" there is a skull of a teenage girl. On a near by lakeshore a man walking is dog finds a headless teenage boys body. Nothing made sense about the deaths or when they were killed so some of the citizens decided to turn vigilantly and blame the crime(s) on devil worshipers and Wiccans. So began the witch hunt to seek revenge. I do not want to give away to much more of the book so I will leave you with that and say this...I was hooked right from page one of this book!
