Dewalt Dc920 18v Drill By Nicholas Harrell on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Working construction, I'm pretty demanding when it comes to power tools. I know what brands to trust for durability and effectiveness. That's why I usually trust the dewalt brand name. And this drill is no exception. It's about standard weight, so it won't be too draining on you for overhead work. Also the batteries last a lot longer than the older 18 volt ones. Also the hammerdrill feature on it is awesome for wood work and on thinner metal products. Easy to use handle is included, as well as two batteries to keep you going as long as you keep one charged all the time. Only drawback of course is with the dewalt name you pay the dewalt price. But in the long run its worth it to pay over 200 for this instead of 99 for a lower quality item that has no warrenty value. I personally used this to build a back porch and furniture in the house so it has got its money worth from me. I would highly recommend this though, and will buy more dewalt products in the future.
Dewalt DC920 Purchased at: Home Depot Price: 279.99

After burning through 3 other drills, my husband finally bought himself a deWalt and like you, loved it. Since he did a lot of overhead work, this one was much lighter and easier on his arms and shoulders.
You definitely got your money's worth out of your drill since you used it to make a porch & also furniture!
