Dhc Mineral Mask By moonbeam973 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I wasn't sure what category to put this in, but it decreases oil, so I chose the acne category. A 3.5 ounce tube is $35.00, and I know of no other place to buy DHC products other than their website (www.dhccare.com). (Mineral Mask is on sale for $26.00 through December 31, 2009). Since it's not specifically an acne product, it doesn't claim to be antibacterial, so I just rated it a 3 in that area. The product does seem to decrease breakouts, probably because it rids your skin of excess oil and impurities. There is no applicator; you squeeze the product out of a tube, and apply it to your freshly washed face with your fingers or a brush. Rinse the mask off after about 5 minutes, then apply a moisturizer. I rated the ingredients a 4 because, although the mask contains some outstanding ingredients (glycerin, bentonite, kaolin, aloe, royal jelly, etc.), it is not chemical/sulfate/PABA free.
