DHC Velvet Skin Coat Makeup Primer

$21 for a 0.52 oz. tube might seem a bit expensive, but this product is worth it (in my humble opinion). It is a makeup primer, but I rarely ever wear a full face of makeup. So, sometimes I wear this without makeup; it just makes my skin look smoother. Velvet Skin Coat glides right onto your skin, filling in fine lines, small scars, pores, and dry or rough patches, making skin appear perfectly smooth. It makes makeup application a breeze, and it keeps makeup from settling into lines. It is long lasting, helping to keep your makeup looking fresh all day (or night). This primer also helps keep oil under control. There isn't a selection; this is it - it's just a skin primer. DHC tends to go overboard with the packaging on some of their products, but Velvet Skin Coat isn't one of them; the packaging is minimal. This product is fragrance free (DHC is great for not adding dyes or perfumes), but it does contain fruit oil. (It is the second to last ingredient listed, which means that there isn't much of it in the product). You don't need much; a little goes a long way. Apply it to your entire face or, if you are not using it as a makeup primer, use it only where needed.
