Diamonique, Jewelers Can't Tell The Difference By Alice on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Diamonique is a women's best friend. I purchased this anniversary band so long ago I can't even remember how long I've had it, I would guess almost 15 years. When I first took it to the jeweler to have it sized he asked if I had bought it at their shop. I told him truthfully that it was not a real diamond ring and he was very, very impressed wih the quality. Eventually the truth comes out as they ask for the value of your jewelry whenever you bring it in for any work for insurance purposes while in their possession. This ring has 5 stones set in 14K yellow gold and is 1/2 carat total weight so it's not an "in your face" type of ring. It goes in my sonic cleaner and comes out sparkling like the day I received it. I have purchased many diamonique rings over the years since, each time it has the jeweler stumped until I tell him and I always get compliments. Why would I spend thousands of dollars when I need only spend a few hundred at the most. I never worry about a stone falling out or even losing a diamonique purchase as it can be replaced for less than the cost of having it repaired or bothering to report it to the insurance company. Ladies, check out this line if you haven't already!!
QVC Diamonique 5 Stone Anniversary Band,14K Gold Purchased at: QVC Price: $99.00

I've wondered about Diamonique after seeing some spots for it on qvc. I'm more of a simple, if any, type when it comes to jewelry. This sounds affordable yet offers variety along with simplicity and durability. Thanks!
This seems beautiful - I think I'll look for some pictures.
Wow never heard of this line of jewelry. You would think a jeweler would have an eye for the real or fake. Sounds like it is a beautiful ring. Thank for sharing this.
What a beautiful ring. I myself would go for the don't ask don't tell policy on a ring like this.
Ya know, my husband and I never did rings for a couple of reasons. One and the most important is that he is allergic to metal. Of couse, I could have had one, but secondly, I have a problem with diamonds and all stones that are "controlled" in the marketplace like they are. There are plenty of diamonds in the world, but DeBeers and the other mining companies control the amount that are allowed into the marketplace to keep the price high. I just don't agree with that. I like the idea of Diamonnique. I looked at some CZ rings. The problem I had was I could not find small stones. The ones that I found were HUGE and looked so fake. Yours is beautiful. I applaude you for this choice. No one would ever know by looking at it! I can see why your jeweler was fooled.
I am not a jewelry type. I'd rather spend all that money on a vacation or my home, but your ring is nice. That would be the type I would want if I did buy or get one. Oh but the thought of losing a stone....*yiks* had a friend that did and she cried forever.
i like it so much.thank you,good job,....
That is a beautiful ring. I am going to have to look into getting me one of those.
