This review is for the Playtex Diaper Genie, which is a diaper pail/trashcan. When I first got this item, I thought it was great! My husband was more excited than I was. He found this product and described it to me - comparing it to a sausage because you drop the diaper in, twist the top, the put in the next. When you empty it, it is somewhat like a sausage shape. It is very easy to change out the liner.

The reason I thought this product was so great is because I was breastfeeding and the diapers had no odor, thus the Diaper Genie was odorless. Once my baby started on solids, the diapers were stinky and so was the Diaper Genei. This did not hold in odors at all. I couldn't figure out why my baby's room smelled so bad and then realized it was the diapers in the Diaper Genie. I still have this thing, sitting in my garage, totally empty. I have no idea why I haven't put it in the trash where it belongs. I won't even garage sale it because I would hate to sell it to someone.
