Diary Of A Fly By Rae777 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Diary of a Fly is written by Doreen Cronin and illustrated by Harry Bliss. This is a wonderful story about several days in the life of a fly and everything she goes through. This fly shows you how she can swim in soup and how she can be friends with a worm and a spider. She talks about her fear of her first day of school. She discusses how she deserves a bedroom of her own despite the fact that she has 327 sisters and brothers and how she wants to be a superhero.
I love this book and I think most children will love this book because most of them can relate two her problems such as wanting a bedroom of their own and being nervous on the first day of school.
This book is filled with wonderful illustrations that children will laugh over. It is a series of books. The other two books include Diary of a Spider and Diary of a Worm.
This book is aimed at ages 4 to 8.
Doreen Cronin is a wonderful children's author whose work also includes Click Clack Moo: Cows Who Type which was the Caldecott honor book.
