Dice, Chop And Stir By Petula on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a popular "As Seen on TV" product. The Magic Bullet Express Blender is touted as being able to replace the blender, food processor, electric juicer and coffee grinder. I originally saw this product on an infomercial and just "had to have it" so my family bought it for me a few holidays ago. I tried to imitate the dishes that were shown on the TV and in the detailed and convenient recipe book with little success. But what really proved this small appliance worthy of my counter space was when I started using it for dishes and items I regularly make.

For instance, I am a big smoothie fan especially during the summer months. Prior to owning The Magic Bullet I was using a blender and a glass -- both of which had to be cleaned afterward including all the parts of the blender. With The Magic Bullet I can put all the ingredients in the cup, attach it to the Bullet and in less than three minutes or so have a deliciously blended smoothie.

I can quickly make individualized smoothies and not worry about cleaning out a large appliance after each "order." The same cup that I made the smoothie in is the same one I can use to drink from. The Bullet includes colored rings to identify individual cups so there's no chance of getting my individual smoothie or frozen drink mixed up with one of my children's.

The Magic Bullet Blender has no buttons to push. All I have to do is load the ingredients, place the Bullet on the power base and press down. Besides smoothies and frozen drinks, it's easy to make fresh spaghetti sauce, chopped onions, salsa, minced garlic, grated cheese, soup and even chicken salad. The Bullet's cups and mugs can be put in the microwave, refrigerator or freezer.

My Bullet package included a power base, stainless steel cross and flat blades, four tall handled cups, four colored lid rings, a tall and short bullet cups, two stay-fresh lids, a shaker top, a steamer top and a 100-page Magic Bullet recipe book.

Overall, the Bullet is a convenient, easy-to-use appliance for the time conscious and busy cook.

(NOTE: I'm actually not sure of the warranty information.)
