My hubby works in a cement plant, and while he is in his office half of the day, he does have to get out in the grind sometimes. When he does...man does he get dirty! With all the heavy equipment, dust, rock, and whatnot there, he really needed something that would stand up to the work he has to do.
These Dickies work pants are great! They have stood up to all the abuse at work and at home he has put them through. Whether he is crawling through small places, up to his knees in dust and mud, or rolling around under his truck, he has never had a problem with these pants. No rips, tears, or even spot wear. The knee has a reinforced panel for extra wear support.
Dickies has a traditional fit work pant, but they fit tighter in the thighs. The relaxed fit style allows him to move in any way he needs with freedom. They fit well at the waist, but are loose from the thighs down. The legs are wide enough to fit comfortably over his boots too.
Though I don't wear these pants, I do have to clean them. No matter how dirty he gets them with mud, oil, and dust, they always come perfectly clean like new. I don't even have to pre-treat them with anything!

Dickies are great work wear! Because they are designed for heavy rough use they are exceptionally sturdy. My husband used to wear these for tougher construction jobs and yes, they cleaned up beautifully.
How great that you don't have to even pre-treat to have them come out well in the wash, that just saves you time and money!
I wore these for work as well and loved them. Took a little to break them in but after that they were good to go.
This brand of clothing has long been a trusted brand for workers. I think it's great that they work out so well for his job. Too bad he doesn't wash them for you!

Dickies work pants are great for those who work outdoors, such as construction, etc. They wash nicely and always look good. This is a brand you can trust!
I know what you mean, Kakoa. My husband worked for years in a limestone quarry and that means lots and lots of dirt, dust and mud. He also has wore dickies pants, though mostly just jeans. Dickies also have t-shirts, though they are not as good as the pants, they are better than a regular t-shirt.
This really seems a cool pair of pants... especially when you are working in the garden

Dickies are great. I know a lot of people that use them for work. the price you got at Walmart was really good, too.
