At my job we are only allowed to wear Dickies brand pants. Dickies really isnt that bad of a brand but before you wear them I would suggest washing them a couple of times. They have some of the stiffest material I have ever worn. I do have to say that these pants last a very long time as well as keep their color.
I am built a little funny around the edges so it isnt easy for me to find a pair of pants that fit perfectly. I had to search around the stores a little and I wasnt impressed with the fits that they had. Another co-worker told me about Dickies.com and that they usually run the free shipping special. Needless to say I bought just the right size and length I wanted just for the right price.

These are the stiffest pants I have ever seen. I think you need to wash them several times and then make sure you add all the Downy softner to the wash and then put in a fabric softener to dry them! I guess they are high quality cotton and that means they are a bit rough at first. Glad you found a way to soften them!
I wore these for work as well. You're right, you do need to break them in a bit but once they are they are super comfy. Durable too, I washed and washed mine and the still look new.
I have felt these in the store before and swear they are so still they can stand by themselves. Good to know they do soften up in the wash.
Washing does them alot of good ,and then your ready to go.
