After much frustration of dragging out the huge carpet shampoo-er everytime one of our dogs has an accident we decided to save ourselves some time & hassle & get ourselves a Bissell Spot Bot! I'm sure glad we did because it saves us time, keeps us from doing hard labor & makes our household chores less hectic. I also don't get so mad with our dogs. I mean they can't help it, who knows how my bladder will be when I'm 115?

The Spot Bot is super easy to use. All you have to do is fill the container for cleaning solution to the appropriate line, cover & place in compartment. Then press either the set-in stain or surface-stain button & watch it scrub & suck away! The only problem we've had is sometimes my husband forgets that when you take out the dirty container you absolutely DO NOT turn it upside down unlike the clean solution. Sometimes he forgets & makes a bigger mess so just make sure you pay attention when emptying dirty container. The instructions does say to run clean water in hose after to keep clean & wipe down the exterior with a clean cloth so that can be a little much sometimes when you're tired. Also the scrubbing part may get caught on long haired carpets such as shag carpets but it does manage to undo itself. If this was our house I'd rip that bad boy out, but it's not so we have to live with the 70's rugs - eww! When the Spot Bot is done it will make a loud beep every 30 seconds or so until you either press the pause button or unplug it. That can get a bit annoying if you can't get to either right away but it sure beats standing there shampooing the carpet yourself. I most definitely would recommend anyone who has kids or pets to get this time/back saving machine.
