Our daughter was turning 8 and begged to have a new television in her room. So we decided that because she was doing so well in school and her birthday was coming up that we would get her a new T.V. for her room. We chose this one because of the price and the size. It has a timer too. So we have the timer set to turn off at lights out. However that feature our daughter doesn't like. It has great color and came with a remote too. It is also a flat screen. Is has all the hook ups for a Karoke Machine, a Video games machine and her DVD player too.The sound is crystal clear and when only set at 13 on the volume scale, I can hear it loud and clear in our livingroom. What a perfect birthay gift for our daughter. She really enjoys her new television. It is the perfect size for a child's room too.
