Digital Camera For Kids By shoefamily on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My in-laws bought this for my son last December. He wasn't really interested in it at first, but now, as he is getting older, the camera goes everywhere with him. The camera is lightweight and very sturdy. He has dropped it from a friend's bunk bed and the camera was perfectly fine. The quality isn't like a normal digital camera, but I didn't expect it to be. We download the pictures to our computer, and he can see how his pictures came out. He loves going through the pictures and telling us the story behind each picture and why he took the picture.

I love the fact that it has a memory slot so you can increase the memory of the camera. It hasn't been much of an issue yet since we download the pictures to our computer, but when he is a bit older, I am going to get another memory card for it so he can take more pictures.

The only odd thing we have is that it is a bit too easy to delete. If you push the same button twice, it deletes the picture. Since we like to see what he has been taking, I wish the delete button was harder for the kids to do.
