Digital Elph - Great Starter Digital Camera

The PowerShot SD1000 is a great starter camera for anyone wanting or needing a digital camera. I love that I can slip this camera into my pocket and take it everywhere. The display screen is much bigger than it was on the original Canon Digital Elphs. My first one had an LCD that was about an inch and a quarter wide (yes, I measured it), and that was pretty impressive five or six years ago when the Digital Elph was new. This new Canon Digital Elph has an LCD that is a whole inch bigger! What a difference that makes when taking digital photos. The only thing I don't like is that it is too easy to accidentally erase all images instead of one. If you buy any Digital Elph, just don't try erasin one image here and there. It is better to upload your images, carry an extra memory card, and then just delete all images at once. It stinks to delete a bunch of great photos. I also like that this digital camera comes with its own rechargeable battery.
