Digital Slr For Both Worlds By Kerie on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Digital SLR cameras are everywhere now. But few have the quality, or ease of the Nikon. The Nikon D50 is the middle of the line SLR, and is good both both experienced photographers and newbies to the field. The camera has both advanced and basic features that allow pictures to be taken with ease. The quality of the pictures is high as well, with the megapixel count being over 8.0. The lense that comes with the camera is a standard lense. A bonus feature though, is that the Nikon camera is compatible with all sorts of lenses. The digital camera is even compatible with lenses from 35 milimeter cameras, which makes its use easy and versatile. The feel of the camera while it takes a picture is amazing. The motion is smooth and fast. As far as displays go, the LCD display is typical. On the down side, the digital options and button functions are not very clear. There are a lot of options, but most are not used by the typical camera user. Overall, the camera is easy to use for first-timers, yet holds many professional features, and is capable of making high quality prints.
