Digital Slr With All Whistles And Bells By Ankitachan on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My husband bought me this Digital SLR as a Christmas present in December 2007.It comes with a standard lenses (18-55mm) which is a perfect started lens. I didn't use it much last year as I was pregnant and didn't get out and about as much as usual. However, this year this camera has racked up over 3000 photos in under 6 months.
I took a mini-photography course this summer and discovered that my camera has a whole host of functions I didn't know existed. (I mean who really reads the manual - certianly not me). After just an hours' class, my shots werwe 110% better and I was pretty good to start with.
The automatic functions are brilliant for the occasional user but as an advanced used this is where this camera really kicks in. It has the simple green function which lets the camera do everything or the standard portrait, landscape, close up and sports functions if you know the type of photo you want to shoot. However, if you want to really get a lot of our your camera, start changing the shutter or aperture speeds or both to obtain truly amazing digital photos.
Who needs access to photoshop or any photo altering program when the key is to take a good photo in the first place. The Canon 400D allows you to do just that.
