Dimplex Brayford Electric Stove By janbubears on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
When i moved into my rented home, i realised there wasn't a living room fire or outlet to assemble a gas appliance. My home is an old terraced house and gets quite cold in the winter. A friend recommended the Dimplex Electric heater which just plugs into a near socket, so i looked on E Bay to see if i could get one at a reasonable price. I found one for £72.99 and its great. The Dimplex has a realistic optiflame log effect, which can be used with or without the heat switched on. I use this facility all the time to give my living room that cosy feeling without it becoming too warm. The fire is very compact and not too big for a small living room like mine. Size is approx 545 (H) 440 (W), and 310 (D). The dual fan operated heat is located on the base of the fire, and stops the top getting hot. You can see from my picture i sit a nice decorative candle on the top - without it even melting. Its also so easy too clean.
1 KW or 2KW fan heat settings.

A nice looking piece, glad you enjoy it.
Sounds like a nice heater and is also very attractive. I use a small heater during the winter and it's very ugly - I'd much rather have one that looks like yours!
Wow, that's a nice looking heater! Glad you found something to meet your needs there in the UK.
Great find! This is what my master bedroom needs :) Thanks for the info, appreciate.
