Dinosaurs Before Dark is a great book!

The Magic Treehouse series by Mary Pope Osborn has spiraled into an incredible series that not only teaches kids about history, but lets them see what it would be like to be in history. This series is a monolithic hit with young children, and there are over forty books in total.
Mary Pope Osborn wrote Dinosaurs Before Dark, the book (all her book titles use alitteration) that started it all. Jack and Annie discover the Magic Treehouse in the forests near their backyard and travel back in time to the time of the dinosaurs. They get in close encounters with the prehistoric giants and at the same time try to find more about who the mysterious M belongs to.
This book is perfect- full of adventure like the Hardy Boys yet educational at the same time!
