Dinosaurs Get Sick Too

As a grandmother, I have seen and read many different books, especially on Dinosaurs. The 9x12 inch book is hard covered, with large print and big pictures that are very colorful. The inside cover list many different Dinosaurs , along with their names, and pictures of them in beds, trying to get well after having the flu. The context of the book is "What if a dinosaur catches the flu", and how he handles the situation from a childs point of view. Does he whine, sneeze, not take medicine, and cry. Does he go to the doctors and refuse to have his temperature taken,or spit out his pills. Neverless he knows the doctor is right and decides to do what the doctor says. He returns home to a warm bed, and juice, and medicine. and the comfort of his mother and father.Each page shows a different dinosaur ,in a different situation,trying to get well from the flu. They can think about how a large dinosaur can live in a house like their family, and visit a doctors office.

This is a cute book and highly recommended for reading to a small child , and a book they can read if old enough.

Update On Jul 27, 2010: Think I'm going to give this to our children's doctor's office. Maybe some of the children may enjoy the book.Dinosaurs and doctors- just can't get any better.
