Dior Show Blackout Mascara By Sophelia on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This is a must have everyday item for me. My eyelashes feel naked without this mascara!

I have very thin and short eyelashes. I also do not have very much, so it is important that my mascara adds as much volume, curl, and length as possible. The DiorShow Blackout mascara is the best! The brush is HUGE (although not as big as the original DiorShow mascara). The formula is great. With only one stroke my eyelashes look long, and with a second stroke they look full. For a more dramatic look I usually give my eyelashes a good four strokes (but this is only because my eyelashes are so thin!).

The mascara does not act as an instant eye curler however, for curled eyelashes you MUST use a curler first and then use the mascara. The mascara does hold the curl very well despite its heavy appearance.

The best part of this mascara is the fact that is stays on forever. When I am at school I do not have to worry about my mascara running, even if I yawn (which I do alot because school is quite boring) the mascara does not budge. I can go to a party and stay out all night and in the morning the mascara is still on my lashes and flake free! It truly is amazing stuff.

Removing the mascara is sort of a pain though. If I use regular liquid remover it takes forever, and usually stings my eyes and the mascara gets all over my eyelids and undereyes. I bought a cream remover that cleans the mascara in one swipe so that is no longer a problem for me!
