DIRECT TV SERVICE

Reviewing: Direct Tv

I know that all satellite providers have there issues but Directv just ticked me off!!We hadDirectv service for a year in and a half.An we were looking to save some money each month so we decided to switch to Dish network.

We had several problems with Directv, anytime it would rain just a little wewould lose the signal and we had to have them come out at one point and replace the whole dish just because something was malfunction on it!

Then when we got ready to switch we new we had an early cancellation fee but they were pro-rating it because we had a little less than six months left.It was around $70 dollars.So we got dish network in here andgot everything settled, when one day we noticed that they(directv) had taked $60 out of our account.We called and they said we were done and had a zero balance.So we thought that we were done with them.Well a few weeks later we noticed we had a difference in our checking account and come to find out they had taken an addtional $270 dollars out.Needless to say we were not happy and we had to dispute it through our bank and after about a week we were refunded.

I would must say that the service it's self is about the same as all the others.But on a good note they do have more channels to pick from.Their programming has alot more for the money as far as dishnetwork.

I def. agree with you. I do not like Direct Tv and DO NOT recommend them!

Direct TV did have bad signal when it rained; customer service pretty much sucks with them too :0(

Ditto on the bad customer service! Unfortunately, I still have DirectTV at my house, but more than once we've been sent over to the 'customer retention center' because of our dissatisfaction of their service.

Sorry to hear about the customer service. I have heard so many complaints about their customer service that I think I will be staying far away from them.

Good thing you were watching your account so closely to catch the extra funds they took out. That is the main reason I don't do drafts off of my accounts. I don't trust that anyone will keep their accounting and billing straight.
