Dirt Devil Breeze Checks Out Too Soon

This Dirt Devil Breeze vacuum cleaner had the shortest life of any vacuum I've ever owned.I've only had it a few years and already it's refused to turn on.No warning, no smoke, no moans and groans indicating an impending death: it just won't come on.I expect more from a vacuum cleaner.At least give me some warning that you're terminal so I can make plans to replace you.

It was never a great vacuum, but it did the job well enough.I'm hard on vacuums -- cat hair, cat litter, cat food -- but it managed these things well enough to keep me from kicking it in despair, although not well enough to throw a party in its honor.It was a nice, mediocre vacuum.However, this latest incident has moved it right off my Christmas card list.A vacuum that dies while you can still remember the bother of buying the last one, has died too soon.I give the Dirt Devil Breeze Lightweight Upright two thumbs down.
