Disaster Keyboard By Will Lane on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought this keyboard a few years ago in the hope of learning to play, however for a few years it was completely ignored in the corner of my room. Then, just recently I listened to a song I just had to learn how to play and therefore started lessons.

This keyboard is perfect for beginners like myself. It has a nice price tag, a good variety of effects and lessons and overall it sounds pretty good. Just as I had started to enjoy playing around with it and had learnt a few songs, disaster struck. Suddenly, the piano made a violent bang then just stopped working. It seemed that the device had overheated. After doing a bit of research I found out I wasn't the only person experiencing these difficulties and apparently in some people's houses it had actually caught fire!

It seemed such a shame because from the beginning I really liked the thing but it seems that the people at casio just don't want me to learn piano. The good news is that newer versions of the keyboard don't have the overheating problem but I'm still not sure I would but another one.
