Discouraged from XBOX LIVE on Pro Evo

Reviewing: Konami Pro Evolution Soccer 2011
Purchased at: Game Station     Price: $34.99 GBP

This was an overall bad 34.99 purchase I made just before Christmas, and not just because the retail price of the game went down to 24.99 just after.. I bought pro evo 2011 and a wireless internet connection to play Xbox live. It was supposed to be a fun way to test my strengths out against the rest of the World's cyber managers. I found that when online in 'Vs mode' whenever I got 2 goals up the opponent pulled the plug on the connection. The ranking system should work on the basis that whoever pulls the plug on the match loses ranking points, but they just get away with it. This means that the joy of banging in a few beauties disappears, because unless you win by one goal in the dieing seconds, the opponent pulls the plug and goes unpunished.I also didn't like the fact that headers always go in whether it's for you or for the opponent . The makers of pro evo have a disgruntled customer, as no punishment for bad losers ruins the whole XBox Live part of the game. I eventually ended up returning pro evo and buying Fifa instead. The change pleased me, but I am still disappointed with the entire way online gaming rules are handled with football gaming. I wouldn't recommend buying monthly internet for Xbox 360, unless unlike me, you play a wider range of games. The best thing I can say about pro evo 2011 is that the graphics of the players looks great. I believe if I had not returned Pro evo in exchange for Fifa I may well have returned my 20 per month wireless internet instead.

We need better value for money to justify online gaming Xbox. Change the rules on pulling the plug and you'll have at least 1 born again customer for your pro evo service.
