Dish Network

Reviewing: Dish Network 1 D015

I have had DishNetwork now for about3 years.The picture and sound is great, programming is fine. It rarely goes out except for when there is a rainstorm or a snowstorm and if it does go out it is for a short time. The only real complaint I have with Dish Network is their Tech. division. My remote stopped working so I called them and the guy said the batteries must be dead I said no, I've changed them twice and the remote still isn't working. He goes on to say well then you must have put the batteries in wrong. I must say i'm no brain surgeon but for heaven's sake I do think I'm smart enough to put in batteries. I say to the guy I have tried two sets of new batteries and I do know how to put them in. He says well there can only be two things wrong with the remote, one , you have bad batteries or two, you put them in wrong. I must say by this time i'm starting to get a little ticked. I said to the tech, are you telling me there is no way there could be anything else wrong with this remote. He says , yes thats what I'm saying. I said, "well, you're wrong.He says ,well were not to do this ,but I will send you out a new remote you should have it in two days. I said , thank you. End of phone call.Two days pass no remote. so, again I call Dish Networka Tech comes on line I explain to her what the problem is. She looks up my account info and says, " There is no record of a new remote or any conversation from you.She says, but not worry I will take care of everything. Two days later I received my new remote. One thing I've learned is always get the name of whom you're speaking with and Id number.
