Dish Network

Ok, so I had cable many many moons ago. I hated it, and once I left, I swore I would never go back again. When I first left cable, I switched to Primestar satellite, which sadly is no longer available. DirecTV bought out Primestar, and I was with them for several years. But, eventually an excellent promo for Dish Network came out, and I was lured to switch.

For the pluses and bonuses they gave me, I guess the switch was worth it. But, now I find myself longing for the days of DirecTV. The channel selection is similar, the reception is actually more reliable, so you would think I would be happier now, right?

Wrong. The customer service with Dish Network has seemed sadly lacking to me, and they lump service fee after ridiculous serving fee on top of my bill. Not to mention that they seem to have an illogical system for charging you for your channels. Every time I think I have figured out the system, they find another twist to throw at me.

Overall, Dish Network is just ok. Not great, not fantastic, by any stretch of the imagination. As a matter of fact, once I finish up my 2 year commitment to Dish, I intend to return to DirecTV. Just goes to show sometimes you should be happy with what you have!
