Disney 7 Night Cruise By Tony on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I, along with my family took a 7 day Western Caribbean crusie on the Disney Cruise Line ship the Magic.
This cruise departed from Port Canaveral, FL and docked in Key West, Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Disney's private Island, Castaway Cay.
The cruise ship was very nice and very clean. There were many different activities for all age groups. This trip would be ideal for the parents of kids 5 years old or older. If they are older than three, they can be in the kids club, which seemed to be great.
If the kids are younger than 3 (which mine is) they have limited daycare availiable to you. This was nice for a few hours of relaxation.
I would not recommend this trip for people with no children, unless you really enjoy being around kids all the time. For families, this is a great trip option, especially if you are a fan of Disney.

Always wanted to go on a a cruise! This does sound family oriented though.
We have been looking into going on a Disney cruise but were concerned that it would not be appropriate with a 1 year old in tow.. But even with limited day care I think it would be great. Thanks for the information. Wonderful!
Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. I'll definitely keep Disney Cruises in mind for my next vacation.
This sounds like the ultimate in Disney voyaging for families! It sounds like there is a lot fr kids to do!
Been on two of these cruises and I have to say that I love them, we went to St. Thomas and St. Maarten. But I have to say I am a huge Disney fan and I would take this trip with out my kids. There are adult things to do, I do agree that there are alot of kids on board bu there are adult only areas that take you away from all that! Thanks for sharing.
I always wanted to take a Disney Cruise!
I love disney but have never been on a cruise with them. I'll have to check this out...sounds fun! :)
Someday I will take a Disney Cruise!! Thanks for sharing your experience.
How were your rooms and the food on this cruise Tony? I''ve heard that the food on many Disney cruises is disppointing and that the cabins were small.
