Disney Dining By nicolemm on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When you say Walt Disney World, people all around the world, in every country, in any language, have heard of it. For years it has been the top vacation destination in the world. There are many aspects to consider when planning a Disney Vacation. Without some planning, Disney can be a disaster! On top of choosing a resort and ticket options, you can also add dining to your reservation.

Dining is Disney is like no where else. There are over 100 sit down restaurants on the property. However, without a reservation, you may not be able to get in depending on the time of year you are there. Disney opens there dining reservations 180 days before the date you are booking for, at 7 AM. There are many reservations that are filled at the 180 day mark, before 8 AM, such as Le Cellier and Cinderellas Royal Table. The Character Meals are the next to book.

If you are planning a Disney Vacation, be sure to see if there are any must do meals for your family. And don't promise the kids the are going to eat with the Princesses unless you have made you reservations! If your trip is less than 180 days and you don't have dining reservations, no need to panic, just start to call Disney Dining daily until something opens up! Cancellations do happen and you may be lucky enough to snag one.
