We absolutely love going to Disney and we travel there every single summer. We of course enjoy the theme parks and the wonderful accommodations that Disney has to offer but I must admit another big hit with us is Disney Dining. We now will only stay on property and buy the Magic Your Way Plus Dining Plan. In 2008 they are changing the plan so it has different options, the basic plan, deluxe plan, and you can even add a wine option. We will probably splurge and do the deluxe dining plan this year because we won't have to budget a dime for food, it includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all member of your party, 4 snack credits per person per day as well. These meals can be sit down or counter service. The basic plan is the same as the deluxe except the sit down meals do not include an appetizer and it is only 2 sit down meals per day. This year the bummer is that tips are not included so I will need to budget for tips. If you are planning a trip to Disney, look into the dining plans, you will be thrilled you did!

We did the deluxe plan one year and it seemed like we spent more time eating or planning on where to eat than anything else. I was really nice, don't get me wrong, but I think we all gained 10 pounds that trip!!!
The dining option makes the whole vacation much more affordable and pleasant. I really love the idea of having as much of my trip prepaid as possible.
Our family loves the MYW plus Dining plan also! We are planning a Christmas 2008 trip and I can't wait to get back to the World! Thanks for sharing your experience!
