Disney Portable Dvd Player
By chesneychic onI bought each of my daughters the Disney Princess Portable dvd playerswith the lcd screen. I knew I was paying a bit more for them because they had the princesses on them and were pinkbut thought they were adorable.I bought them because we were going to be driving for almost 17 hours to disney world. They are able to play Dvd's, cd's and mp3.You can also display digital pictures.My kids could not watch the dvd's in the day time because you could not see the screen when it was bright outside or the sun was out at all.It also only has a 2.5 battery life so I bought a charger that plugged into the cigarette lighter so they would be able to watch movies which was a additonal $50.00. I had bougt the charger before I knew that they weren't able to be used in day time. I bought headphones that were also disney for around $12.00.These turned out to be very expensive cd players because these are the only things my kids use them for.I really regret buying these because I could have gotten alot better dvd player for a lot less money.
That's too bad you spent so much on them for just that use. But maybe they will come in handy later when they are older and can use them for sleepovers or something? :-)
Its shame after spending so much no thing achieved but looks really suitable and good for girls and these thing they will appreciate ..

How disappointing. And $50 for the charger - yikes!
OUCH!!! That was an expensive mistake. How horrid it is they cannot watch anything during daylight hours. Too bad you couldn't have returned them for exchange.
