I purchased this potty for my daughter when we started trying to train her. I would not reccomend this potty chair to anymore. It is very cute with the princess theme but it was not ideal for my duaghter. She would not sit in the chair to use the potty. I finally had to buy her one of the seats that go on top of the regular toilet for her to start using the bathroom. It is very easy to clean. After the bathroom is used it is easy to just remove the cover and remove the pot it has inside and rinse out. It does detach from the child chair and attaches to the adult toilet but by the time you do that my daughter had already had an accident. I ended up throwing out the chair altogether and purchasing the one that goes directly on adult toilet.
