Disney always has great, unique items for Christmas. Being the frugal shopper that I am, I always wait for the after-Christmas clearance sales to purchase new items for the Christmas holidays the following year. Shoppers Drug Mart also sells Christmas ornaments and other items. It was while in a Shoppers Drug Mart filling a prescription in early January that I noticed they had some Disney Christmas items on clearance. One such item was Disney Princess Musical Waterballs.

What are Musical Waterballs? Well, they are just another fancy name for snow globes. If you are a Disney snow globe collector, the Snow White and Cinderella snow globes I purchased are exquisite!

I'll start with Snow White. The scene inside the globe is of Snow White being carried by her Prince with a few of her forest friends at their feet. The scene at the base of the globe is of the Seven Dwarfs either hauling a Christmas tree or other activity in the snow. The Snow White Musical Waterball has a crank at the bottom that you turn. It plays, "We Wish You a Merry Christmas".

As for the Cinderella snow globe, she is standing with her Prince Charming and he is bending to kiss her hand. The base of the globe is detailed with her mouse friends giving gifts and dancing. The Cinderalla Musical Waterball plays "The Twelve Days of Christmas".

The age is stated for 8 years and older as it is made of glass and not plastic. The Cinderella model # is 884820 and Snow White model # is 884871.

We love to take these out at Christmas to decorate the mantel of our fireplace. They add that magical touch of Disney to our Christmas holidays!
