Disney Princess Royal Cash Register

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas.She was so excited when she unwrapped it!Anything that says Disney or Princess has her screaming with joy!

She wanted to open it right away.We told her how to use the cards to buy things. On one of the cards is items needed for a picnic.It tells you which items need to be purchased.Then she finds those product cards and brings them to the register.On the back there are bar codes.One of the cutest parts of this toy is the scanner.You line up the arrows on the cards and it reads the bar code and enters the amount into the register.One small problem with the scanner is that if you don't line up the arrows exactly, it will read a different item and price than is on the card. This was a bit frustrating to her. Once she got the hang of how to line them up, it was a breeze for her to scan items.

After she had all the items required , she pushed total.The cash register shows the total of the sale.Then the register asks if it will be cash or debit.Of course she loves the credit card so most times she says "debit"!She pushed the "debit" button and then the resgister tells her to insert the debit card into the reader.Then she is instructed to enter her secret code.This could be any number or numbers...she chose quite a few every time!Then the register makes the sound as if it is connecting to the phone line and tells her the sale was approved!I was wondering if it would ever tell her it was declined!I guess I will just have to keep playing with it to find out.

This is an awesome toy for the little princess in your life!She played with it for many hours on end.Oh and I forgot to tell you that it has a little microphone too.She was heard calling for clean up on aisle 3!Her little brother kept grabbing the mic and saying "hello".It was a great choice that she will enjoy for a long long time.
